Established in 2016, The Shed Collective is a design practice that makes good design accessible. Providing a service for clients to uncover their visions by enabling them to stay engaged with the whole process of design and construction of buildings.

Heleana Genaus

Heleana graduated from UNSW with a Masters in Architecture in 2008, during her final year began working for Paul Pholeros Architects and Healthabitat until February 2016, establishing The Shed Collective in December the same year. Heleana Completed the Glenn Murcutt Master Class in 2019 and spoke at Deerubin conference early 2020 on behalf of Healthabitat, both organised by the Australian Foundation of Architects.

Heleana brings a resilience, passion and drive to the advancement of architecture as a service for any client. Her commitment to improved environments, inspired places, putting people first and having fun through the process is what clients enjoy most when working with her.

Heleana also co-founded Rising Sun Workshop and is the executive secretary of the Newtown Enmore Business Community.
